There are several changes in Feinberg this year. One new change is the new juvenile section. This section located on the third floor next to United States Government Documents will make it easier to find books for children to manage and find books. If you remember the PZ section last year it was over crowded and books were constantly falling behind. Now there is more space for browsing and collection development and all the children books that were located throughout the library are in one section.
For those who are wondering why this change was a need (as I would have if I did not work at the reference desk and had not received so many questions) many students, especially in Education, Social Work and English majors, often look for these books to read to children, learning to write children’s book and using these books in their curriculum.
If you browse through the collection it might bring back memories of when you were a child. I found a book called Leo the Late Bloomer by Robert Kraus which was my favorite book when I was in kindergarten.
